I work with adults of all ages, supporting them through life's challenges. In our sessions, we will look together at you current situation and, if helpful, explore past experiences and relationships that may still be affecting you today.
Therapy is a collaborative journey. We will spend time exploring and reflecting, connecting the dots, and finding strategies to ease your distress. The process is rarely linear - there might be ups and dpwns along the way. As you move towards greater self-connection, compassion, and love, it's natural to encounter feelings such as frustration, grief, or even hopelessness.
You will not face this journey alone. I will be alongside you with empathy, care and commitment for as long as you need. My aim is to create a safe and supportive space where healing and growth can unfold at your own pace.
My way of working is based on different theories: CBT (challenging unhealthy patterns of thinking and relating to self or others), psychodynamic (exploring childhood experiences and relationships) and humanistic (working with you as an unique individual with a unique life story, in the context of a relationship based on empathy and acceptance).
I offer talking therapy, but also powerful art interventions for when there are no words to express unbearable and painful thoughts and feelings.
I work under the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) Ethical Framework and under close clinical supervision. It means that you can be assured that, as a therapist, I will always work in your best interests and that my counselling services meet the required expectations for good practice in counselling and psychotherapy.
